The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) recently sent an email to whomever the NRSC sends emails to.
There is an interesting sentence that has recently floated into public view.
"It was long believed there was no possible chance Democrats could flip FOUR SEATS in order to seize the President's Senate Majority," the email said. "But alas, here we are in the final stretch of the election with Obama betting EVERYTHING on flipping the Senate."
I always have heard that the Senate is a separate, independent branch of our government.
I guess there is a hidden capitulation clause hidden somewhere in Article One.
Alito and Thomas must have found it somewhere.
