A Suggestion For The Cops

All I hear is whining and moaning by the police about how rough they have it.

And they keep saying they can't understand why anyone would not trust them.

They are, after all, to be loved.

Or so someone must have told them.

Most recently - this morning - I heard the head of the LAPD union saying how good things are now as compared to 1992 - or Bull Conner; and why can't everyone love us?  Oh woe is we; it's so tough being a cop; etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

Since it's so god damned hard, I suggest that the cops all go do something useful for a change; becoming grocery clerks or Amazon warehouse workers comes to mind.

That would be a giant step toward the key demand of the Demonstrations: hugely cut the totally asymmetric and wasted billions diverted from productive and useful line items in the budgets of America's state and local governments into brutal military apparatuses of repression.

That would be a good thing.
