Desmond Tutu

 I always felt better;

I always felt happier;

Than I had been before I had had the thought:

"Desmond Tutu lives".

Now that he doesn't

Live,

I am much the worse

In all ways

Due to that fact;

But he did

Live;

And all of us,

Everywhere

Are better for his having been here.

There aren't many

Of whom

 One can say that.

So:

Godspeed, I guess;

But I wish you were still here, Father Tutu.
