Really good salsa
It's been family owned in Mt Vernon Washington since 1965, when the Rivas family opened it at its first location.
Over the years they have prospered and grown and now are in their third location.
I think they make their corn tortillas because the chips are the best I have ever had; they make short shrift of a dish of that salsa.
Have the Chile Verde Sauce on a chicken enchilada.
Or go wild and order standalone Chile Verde.
Be prepared for something so good you won't believe it.
Or Arroz con Pollo.
I haven't been able to break a culinary entrapment with those three dishes to find out how good the fancier stuff is.
But I will.
Someday.
