A late in life revelation has been that goats are wonderful people.
They can't be rattled.
They seem to like human people.
I think that they think that they are human people.
Only, their perception of human people, and therefore their version of "people", if we were to know it, would describe a being much better than most - human people.
A basic goat belief, learned from the rather small goats that make home at our local fromagerie, is "they can't all be bad".
I think "they" is "us".
That really sounds like Pogo speaking.
We met these two on a trail somewhere on Lopez Island.
