A Texas/Arizona Oddity

The governors of Texas and Arizona, not well documented deep-thinkers, have inadvertently stumbled into a solution to a serious, vexing and long-term problem; it is a problem that - really - threatens the basic humanity of the people of the United States.

That problem is the totally irrationally inhumane immigration dysfunction of the United States.

Their inadvertent solution is disguised as a cutesy trick on the Federal Government.

Ol' Greg and Ol' Doug have done something so simple that even the most moronic MAGGOT can grasp their amazing wit and subtlety.

So they have thought, and, I am sure, chuckled mightily with their MAGGOT following - over mint juleps or margaritas: "we really screwed Ol' Joe".

But they have actually initiated the nucleus of an implementable solution to America's inhumanity to man.

Briefly here is Ol' Greg's and Ol' Doug's argument.

They say that their states are undefended victims of the invasion of the Visigoths and other undesirable human offal (every MAGGOT premise needing an "I'm a victim component").

They say that President Biden is personally responsible for this onslaught of barbarian attack on the fragile edifice that is American Culture and that, as the entry point to that onslaught, their states must inevitably crumble, losing their place as forefronts and bulwarks in defense of that edifice.

So, clever devils that they be, they are putting all of the Visigoths on buses and sending them to various places they deem to be not up to snuff in the defense of our sacred edifice: let those Visigoths rape, kill, maim and slaughter elsewhere.

Washington DC is prominent among those places.

The odd thing is that Ol' Greg and Ol' Doug have actually put in place a program that only needs a new law with a lot of funding to create a workable immigration system that would put America back at the forefront for another century.

The law would say that America is open to Big Immigration.

It would tell prospective candidates for being an American citizen that they need to come to the borders of Texas and Arizona, stay in American provided housing and pre-entry clearing in Mexico-on-the-border-of-America, get properly processed and cleared (get their criminal checks, social security numbers, housing vouchers, enrollments in any necessary language training, pre-enrollment of their children in schools, including any necessary language training and the names, locations and report dates of their imminent new employers and have a night's sleep in a comfortable bed; a lot more probably needs to be added to that list, but I will leave that task to the crafters of the law).

On the morn they would cross over to Texas or Arizona and get on a bus provided by Ol' Greg or Ol' Doug and commence on their journey to their new - American - life.

The funding would build the México-side processing facilities and pay for the administrative apparatus necessary to implement and conduct the program.

The source of the funding should be a no-brainer: discontinue the F35 and halve the annual Defense budget.

I'd rather have productive, committed, tax paying new fellow citizens than a trillion dollars a year spent on Ol' Raytheon and the Boys.
