With joy because of the results of the Senate runoff in Georgia mixed with despair in the face of the attempted coup d'etat attempted today in Washington I didn't realize something.
But then I did: how lucky could we have gotten?
Assuming that donnie's militias don't mount a second, successful, armed, attack, and install donnie as our duce, we will move forward now, and have a country.
It's going to be a lot easier to have that country with Raphael Warnock and John Ossoff in the Senate.
Unlike so many Senators, these two are brilliant.
Having brilliance in the Senate, an infrequent occurrence in American history, could blend with humanity in the White House, and bare knuckled pragmatic leadership in the House and may all conspire to produce the American Salvation Program which will turn us on our axis into an era in which Americans finally get to live as the Declaration said we should.
